Born and raised in Mexico City, she started working as a copywriter when she was only 16 years old. Later she graduated in Communications at the Universidad Iberoamericana.

 

She’s worked as a Creative head in several local and international agencies, including Grey Mexico, McCann Mexico, Y&R New York and Y&R Miami.

 

Her former clients include P&G, Colgate-Palmolive, Unilever, Quaker Beverages, MilkPep (gotmilk?), Kraft Foods, Mead Johnson, Nestle,  Dannon, Gerber Baby Foods, Hasbro Toys, Glaxo and many more.

In parallel, Ruth started directing over 20 years ago and has directed several TV commercials, content videos and even a successful soap opera in Mexico, La Fea Más Bella, Televisa's version of Ugly Betty.
